Metropolitan Community College Board of Governors District 1 Retain Home About Volunteer Contact Links
I believe Metropolitan Community College is a major contributor to our economy in this four county area.  We have been successful in keeping the tax rate the same and balance the budget.  I am proud to be a member of this Board of Governors in assisting to grow our student base into graduates that stay in the community area to   perform jobs.  The Master Plan for Metropolitan Community College has been a priority to expand our facilities to keep up with retooling employees for todays jobs.  I am proud to be part of the Leadership as treasurer for the Board of Governors and apply my background as a small business owner for over 30 years.  My insight for the needs of small business development and needs of our single parent students is a strength that I have been able to contribute to the board. We have local businesses that come to us and ask for certain types of technical training and we have responded with new classes or retooled classes to better serve our business and job markets.  We have 8 plus major locations in the 4 county area.    We are always glad to hear from you and your ideas.
